THE APA DIFFERENCE

Are you ready to make a tangible difference in the world? The ChangeMaker Program focuses on impactful sustainability and community service projects, whether you’re building houses on land or deploying new coral beds underwater. Each initiative is ongoing and managed by local experts, like Khun Toon, our arborist in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, who leads our native tree reforestation efforts. In a region affected by forest fires and the loss of native species, we aim to help regrow jungle while also developing a deeper understanding of our many travel-related decisions on CO2 emissions. Through immersive, hands-on experiences, you’ll directly contribute to meaningful environmental change and leave a lasting impact.

* note: Qualifications available depend on the specific program itinerary followed. Participants must meet all assessment requirements to earn certifications.
