Depending on the particular program, you may be staying in twin rooms, shared dormitories, homestays, tents or cabins. We vet every accommodation to make sure you are safe and comfortable.
We make sure that meals are healthy and tailored to the needs of the group. Our programs are about experiencing real Asia so we include the dishes that Asia is famous for while also making sure that there is variety and a sense of familiar as well. We accommodate dietary restrictions and will ask for your preferences before the program begins.
No problem! We accommodate dietary needs, including allergies, vegetarians, and more. Be sure to let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
We encourage a healthy balance between spending time fully engaged in your surroundings and staying connected. Many of our programs include a "storytelling" element where we teach and encourage people to capture and share their experiences digitally. Most locations have phone and internet access. In remote areas, connectivity may be limited, so we will provide updates to your family through our team if you are out of coverage.
Laundry facilities are available throughout your journey, either on-site or nearby. We’ll provide guidance on when and where you can do laundry.

Yes! While the schedule is based around structured activities, we build in personal time so you can relax, explore, and connect with your new friends.
Safety is our top priority. We have experienced staff on-site, rigorous safety protocols, and 24/7 emergency support locally, backed up by round-the-clock expertise in our global HQ in Hong Kong. All activities are carefully planned, and our team is fully trained in risk management.

We support local staff with round-the-clock medical experts in Hong Kong who have pre-vetted contacts in place to handle any emergency. We’re trained to handle medical situations and will keep your family informed every step of the way.
Once your program is confirmed, we’ll provide recommended flight schedules, including options for shared group flights from a central location accompanied by a guide for select programs. You’re responsible for booking your flights, but our team is available to guide you through the process. If you prefer to arrive independently, we’ll share the arrival window and arrange pickups for a smooth start. Many participants continue traveling after their program, so we’ll also provide clear finish dates and times to help you plan your next steps.
If delays occur, contact our team immediately. We’ll help you adjust arrangements so you can join the program as smoothly as possible.
Our program tuition covers accommodations, in-country transportation, most meals, guided activities, excursions, certifications, and 24/7 on-site support. International flights to and from the program destination are not included, and you’ll want to budget separately for personal expenses and any independent activities during personal free time. We aim to provide a comprehensive experience so you can focus on learning and adventure.
While most expenses are covered, you’ll need funds for personal items, snacks, souvenirs, and any independent activities during free time. We recommend budgeting $50–$100 per week.
Yes, travel insurance is mandatory. It should cover health, emergency evacuation, and personal belongings. If you don’t already have coverage, we can recommend providers.

Depending on the program, you can earn certifications such as first aid, video production, leadership skills, paddling coaching qualificiations, or PADI diving certification . These add valuable skills to your resume.
